London UK, February 2017 – RENTR launches new additions to its leading property management app for private landlords and tenants across the UK. The new look Rentr app now includes a complete maintenance reporting solution as well as new property advertising options through impressive new agency partnerships, cementing Rentr as the backbone of the residential PropTech revolution.
Created by a team with over 20 years of experience in creating technology for the lettings industry, Rentr is a platform that allows private landlords and tenants to rent properties securely via one easy-to-use mobile app. From right to rent checks to signing contracts, Rentr allows landlords to choose which letting services they require – helping them manage any sized property portfolio.
Rentr 2.3 introduces a much improved accounts module, which allows all financial changes to be recorded and turned into a Tax submittable statement.
The new build of Rentr, now available to download on iOS and Android, includes a platform for seamless maintenance reporting. Landlords will now be able to receive reports for maintenance issues from the tenant through the app. Then they will be able to assign contractors to address the issues and organise when the best time to visit the property is. Rentr also has capacity for extra information to be added to the maintenance report such as images and invoices all in one place – ready for the end of year tax reports.
Rentr has added key Agency partners to their service offering, leveraging vital property management expertise and established close working relationships with leading property advertising platforms.
This allows landlords using Rentr to select Agency services alongside the full DIY package, accessing professional assistance to advertise on the carefully selected partner platforms in addition to the free property advertising service offered on www.rentr.co already.
Adam Blaxter, director and co-founder of Rentr said: “We are delighted with the new Rentr Agency Services and their partnerships and are excited to have such big hitters on board.
“Our vision for Rentr has always been to create a backbone system for private landlords – a platform where users can manage all aspects of their letting procedure. These new strategic partnerships help us bridge the gap between finding tenants and managing the tenancy as well as creating a streamlined journey for both landlords and tenants.”
Blaxter adds that “Landlords want to manage their portfolio in different ways, it’s not a one-size-fits-all industry. Some landlords will have multiple properties and will be managing them full-time whereas others might have just the one but have to manage their tenants around their day jobs.
“Every part of Rentr was designed with landlords and tenants in mind. Rentr was built to facilitate direct communication between landlord and tenant and help them create a solid relationship which works for everyone while addressing all the regulatory and administrative requirements of the UK private rental sector.”
“We wanted to build a service which allows private, DIY landlords to access the same technologies and services as letting agents and to be able to access it whenever and wherever required. Each individual can choose the elements that suit their personal circumstances so they can choose how much they rely on letting agents or their own resources.”
Although the app was given a widespread launch in the last year, thousands of users have already signed up to Rentr and manage their landlord-tenant relationships through the system.
